Tray Oates, representing Arizona Pole Vault Academy, took second in the men's elite section with a first-attempt clearance at 18-0.50 (5.50m) at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine National Championships at the Big Red Barn in Sun City, Calif. Oates prevailed for the runner-up spot against Cole Walsh of Risen Performance based on fewer attempts.
